I have heard that seven wins may not be enough to keep Dooley as head coach. It's going to matter that it is beating the ranked competition and getting 8 wins that may save him, and it looks like that may not happen. By the time October is done, Dooley is looking at 0-15 vs. ranked opponents.

I have said this several times tonight, I really, really, really, REALLY, want Dooley to make it, I really do. But week after week, after week, it seems to be the same story. Beating Troy, Akron, Georgia State, Ky and Vandy is not good enough. We have GOT to start beating ranked teams again.

What is so disturbing is that Troy played very well today so they can give us a scare ala Akron.
